It has been confirmed that fan-favorite actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are returning to their iconic characters in the latest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The project is now in the works.

The duo will once again portray Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the characters they made famous. Industry whispers indicate their roles will take the form of a future-set scene, as the main film series concluded with their characters living in peace.

Sunrise on the Reaping is adapted from a newly published work by series creator Suzanne Collins.
