Administration Denounces 'Democratic Hoax' as Additional Epstein Estate Photographs Released
House Democrats have released a new tranche of what they termed "alarming" photographs from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The first release of 19 images—a portion of which have been seen before—combined with another 70 released later on Friday constitute a minuscule portion of the nearly 100,000 images handed over to the House oversight committee, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.
The fallen money manager died by apparent suicide in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking charges.
High-Profile Individuals in the Photos
Among the prominent personalities visible in the initial batch are well-known figures including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, originator of the Virgin business group.
Donald Trump appears in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are blacked out.
Administration Response
The White House responded to the release in a official comment, alleging Democrats of selectively "cherry-picking" the images for partisan aims and to "attempt to fabricate a false narrative."
"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been time and again refuted," a White House spokesperson said, insisting that "the Trump administration has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by repeatedly calling for openness, releasing reams of documents, and calling for further investigations into Epstein's Democrat friends."
Congressional Democrat Statement
The images were disclosed without context, but as stated by a California Democrat and ranking member of the investigative panel, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's associations with affluent people.
"The moment has come to stop this White House concealment and secure justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he stated in a comment.
The publication of these images comes as the oversight committee proceeding with its investigation into the affair.
